
Harlequin
Players can choose from 15, 9 and 6 ball games designed
to provide varying levels of skill, strategy and luck suitable
for a wide range of players. Some games are designed for quick
play while others can provide for long range strategy and subtlety.
The use of dice and cards in some of the games provides a new
concept in pool games that allows a new range of skills and luck
that can help win a game, thus adding further excitement and color.
Several games are ideal for accommadating an odd number of players.

Harlequin
15 Ball Games Standard Rules:
Setting
Up:
The 15 object balls are racked in a triangle, 3 red balls, 3 green
balls, 3 yellow balls in each corner of the triangle, leaving
a space for the 6 different colored balls to be placed in the
center of the triangle in any order (fig.1). The color red, green
or yellow chosen by the Player to break will be the first ball
of the rack placed on the footspot. The cue ball may be shot from
anywhere within the "D" up or down the table (Click
to see Fig. 2)
Legal
Shots:
To legally pocket a ball, the ball chosen and the pocket must
be nominated (except from the break). After legally pocketing
a ball, a Player continues until a shot is missed or an illegal
shot is played. A Player may play any ball or balls onto his intended
ball. Push shots are allowed when balls are touching.
Illegal
Shots:
A ball pocketed in any pocket other than that which was
called.
Cue ball is pocketed.
Any ball is hit off the table.
Jump shot (when the cue ball jumps over another ball).
Striking with the cue any ball other than the cue ball.
More than 1 ball is pocketed.
If a player's body or clothing comes into contact with any
ball.
Playing out of turn.
