Harlequin Pool Players

This game is centered around nine different colors and is designed to reward skillful position play as well as having the advantage of being playable with three separate players without teams.

Two, Three or more players may play Harlequin Pool Players Game on any 6 pocket table of any dimension.

The Components and Object of the Game
Harlequin World Pool is a game played with a cue ball and 15 object balls, 3 red balls, 3 green balls, 3 yellow balls, 1 blue ball, 1 pink ball, 1 violet ball, 1 black ball, 1 orange ball, 1 burgundy ball.

The object of the Game is to be the first Player to pocket 3 red, green or yellow balls plus any 2 other single color balls and win the Game.

How to Play
The order of play will be decided by dealing Harlequin cards to each player face up. The first player to be dealt a red card will play first, the yellow card will play second and the green card will play third. The player with the red card will break the balls wide open. Balls pocketed from the break are in play. The players must pocket 5 Harlequin balls in the following order, using 3 red Harlequin balls, and any 2 single color balls as an example, a red ball, then any single color ball, a red ball, a single color ball, and finally a red ball. The turn passes to the next player when a shot is missed. After an illegal shot is played the turn passes to the next player who is entitled to 1 free shot. Following the free shot, the player will commence normal play. The first player to legally pocket their 3 red, 3 green or 3 yellow Harlequin balls plus any 2 single color balls will win the Game.

Scoring
The first Player to pocket 3 Harlequin balls of the same color and any 2 single color Harlequin balls in the correct order will win the game.
