Harlequin 5 Card

Two, three or more players may play Harlequin 5 Card Pool on any 6 pocket table of any dimension.

The Components and Object of the Game
Harlequin World Pool is a game played with a cue ball and 15 object balls, 3 red balls, 3 green balls, 3 yellow balls, 1 blue ball, 1 pink ball, 1 violet ball, 1 black ball, 1 orange ball, 1 burgundy ball, and 3 Harlequin dice, 1 Deck of Harlequin cards.
The Object of the Game is to pocket 3 red, 3 green or 3 yellow Harlequin balls plus 2 other single color Harlequin balls matching a hand of 5 Harlequin cards and thus win the game.

How to Play
The Harlequin cards are shuffled and dealt one at a time face up to each of the players until each player has 3 red, 3 green or 3 yellow cards plus 2 different single color cards. After the first player is dealt a hand of 5 cards he drops out, discarding any surplus cards. Cards are dealt to the remaining players until each player has a hand of 5 cards. The first Player to be dealt 3 red, 3 green or 3 yellow cards and 2 different single color cards will break the balls wide open. Balls pocketed from the break are in play.

The player at the table must try to pocket 5 Harlequin balls matching his hand of 5 cards in the following order, using 3 red balls, 1 blue ball and 1 pink ball as an example hand of 5 cards. The player must pocket a red ball, then a blue or pink ball, a red ball, the remaining blue or pink ball, and finally a red ball. The turn passes to the next player when a shot is missed. After an illegal shot is played the turn passes to the next player who is entitled to 1 free shot. Following the free shot, the player will commence normal play. The first player to legally pocket 3 red, 3 green or 3 yellow Harlequin balls plus 2 single color balls that match their hand of cards will win the Game.

Scoring
The first Player to pocket 3 Harlequin balls of the same color and 2 single color Harlequin balls in the matching their hand of cards will win the Game.
